Practice Schedule
Swimmers can choose one practice a day during TRANSITION WEEK, and they can come every day. We will use Transition Week to celebrate participation in Summer Rec League, Y Summer Champs, and build team comradery with fun and games! Play in the water also helps our swimmers develop a feel for the water that translates to better body awareness for stroke skills.
Our fall practice schedule starts Monday, 8/19. Below are the practice options for all levels. Current swimmers should fill out this form to indicate your preferred practice time for the academic year: https://forms.office.com/r/1Cg40K3yVz. There is space for most levels to indicate a first and second choice. ALL swimmers will get their first choice; the second choice is really to indicate that you are flexible, which helps our swimmers get their first choice 🙂
Please note that several of our groups have increased in practice length and frequency. Both Junior and Senior Gold will be transitioning to up to five evenings per week. To help with this transition, they will have the option to add-on two days through Dec 31. There will be an additional monthly fee to add-on this option (fee TBD). Starting Jan 1, all Gold swimmers will practice up to five evenings per week, which will be reflected in the new 2025 monthly fees. Let me know if you have any questions.
JUNIOR options for swimmers under 14 (8th grade and younger)
Development – 45 mins
- 10&Under - Mon/Weds 3:45-4:30
- 13&Under – Weds/Fri 4:15-5:00
Bronze – 55 mins
- Tues/Thur 3:45-4:40
- Mon/Weds 5:00-5:55
Junior Silver – 70 mins
- Mon 3:45-4:55 AND Tues/Thurs 4:45-5:55
- Tues/Thurs 4:45-5:55 AND Fri 5:30-6:40
- Mon/Wed 6:00-7:10 AND Fri 5:30-6:40
Junior Gold – 85 mins
- Mon/Wed 4:30-5:55, Fri 4:00-5:25
- Tues/Thurs 4:30-5:55, Fri 4:00-5:25
- Mon/Wed/Thurs 4:30-5:55
- Through Dec 31, option to add-on two days for FIVE days/week (additional monthly fee TBD); starting Jan 1 all Gold swimmers will practice up to FIVE days/week
SENIOR options for swimmers 13+ (at least second semester 8th grade)
Senior Silver/High School Conditioning – 90 mins
- Tues/Thurs 6:00-7:30
- Option to join any morning practices offered
Senior Gold – 90-105 mins
- Mon/Tues/Thurs 6:00-7:30 AND Weds 6:15-7:30 (after HIIT) AND Fri 5:00-6:45
- May join any morning practices offered
- Through Dec 31, option to add-on two evenings for FIVE evenings/week (additional monthly fee TBD); starting Jan 1 all Gold swimmers will practice up to FIVE days/week
- For both Senior Silver and Senior Gold - If you are a member AND a teen (13+), you can join the below group exercise classes for dryland training (additional may be added later)
- Tues 6:00-6:55 am – Cycling
- Weds 5:15-6:05 pm – HIIT (may also join the in-pool workout afterwards 6:15-7:30)
PLATINUM ELITE - all ages; must meet tryout requirements
- All of Senior Gold options, except Mon is 5:45-7:30 (15 mins earlier)
- All dryland options and morning options
- Coach Sara will help customize schedule
- Weekend morning practice as scheduledÂ
